GT4 Europe takes on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps this weekend as
part of the support package for the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa.
A strong contingent of GT4 Europe regulars are joined this weekend by
competitors from the Sweden-based GT4 Scandinavia championship, taking
the grid to 55 cars for the two one hour races.
The Scandinavian entries will not score points towards the GT4 Europe
series, but will still fight for position in both the overall & class results, and
points in the GT4 Scandinavia championship standings.
Two 570S GT4s will both contest the Pro-Am class at this famous venue.
Greystone GT's Tim Whale and Adam Carroll have shown promising pace
throughout the year but have so far been denied a podium finish by
misfortune. The duo will be hoping for a strong result at this track that has
proved a happy hunting ground for the 570S GT4 in the past.
ALFAB Racing will also make the journey to the Ardennes forest as part of
the GT4 Scandinavia guest starters. An impressive start to their season sees
them leading the championship after the opening two rounds, a position they
will look to consolidate this weekend. Drivers Erik Behrens and Daniel Roos
also recently contested the Creventic Spa 12 Hours, and will hope their
increased track knowledge gives them the edge amongst their Scandinavian
peers and the wider Pro-Am class.
